Microsoft Bing algorithms start to take over Yahoo Search

This week, Bing will start powering Yahoo Search as the companies continue to ramp up their search alliance, Microsoft said Tuesday.

Huge % jump for Bing, but it still sounds like a measly amount, compared of course to the big G…

It will be interesting to see how Yahoo users experience Bing. It seems like Yahoo wants to keep their own UX all while just have Microsoft improve algorithms with the bigger sample pool…

  • Would this be the turning point for Microsoft to control a big share as a major search engine? Ask.com tried, Wolfram Alpha tried, AOL also tried …. MSN Live to BING, Is it about time now?

  • Thanks Laura, I got the email and haven’t stopped laughing ever since.

  • 31 percent is good to starting and i hope it will increase soon…..google live results are also in action which are quick and fast

So Bing has to come with something magically to compete with google search market share and take benefits of merging

  • Yahoo and Bing are together to beat Google…

  • It seems like Yahoo wants to keep their own UX all while just have Microsoft improve algorithms with the bigger sample pool…
